I am trying to download games for my school computer but I need to be admin. How can I do this?
- You cant. The admin rights are only for designated staff. Its the same at my job, and it was the same in HS and college. Sorry!
- This would probably be considered "hacking" by your school, and would probably get you at least a few detentions, and more likely suspended or expelled. You have several options, but unfortunately it all depends upon your school network. Here are your options, beginning with the ones you are least likely to do: 1. Ask the admin or teacher to do it for you. If you have a choice, I would highly recommend this one, as it is the safest. I doubt you'll go for this one, as it will probably unsuccessful if you don't have a good excuse. But it might be worth a try. 2. Get the admin or possibly teacher p word. This one is surely against your school policy. But it works very well. 3. Use a boot CD. This is basically hacking. You could get expelled for this. There are many ways to do this. One that comes to mind is creating a local account. For this you need a school computer that can be booted of a CD or DVD. Using UBCD for Windows ubcd4win.com, with the Sala P word Renew tool installed, follow its instructions and just create a new account. It will be a lengthy process making the boot CD, but if you really want to play games. 4. Install the games to portable memory. A large flash drive should work, depending on your goal. Just install your program to them, and hopefully they should work. If not, to bad. And now for one that you surely won't use. 5. DON'T PLAY GAMES AT SCHOOL! Kind of obvious and self - explanatory. Again, I must say that some of these methods will undoubtedly get you into into trouble. Personally, I recommend options one and five. This information is only for theoretical purposes. And if you find a loophole or glitch that lets you install something on the computers, please go tell the admins after you've had a bit of fun with it. Do the world a favor and be a good person
- A little more info please, I need to know how you log on, what your network is etc. But usually you won't be able to get in. This might help: forum. myriafx.com / viewtopic.php?t=619&highlight
- Without the administrators p word you are not going to get any game on the school computer
- Ask for them. Anything else will get you expelled or worse. If you use torrents to download illegal material, your school can choose to press criminal charges against you
